I was greeted by name upon arrival. My car was treated with care. I had an appointment to have a tire repair which I chose to wait for. Unfortunately, my car had a recall which they chose to also fix while I was there. what should have been a 30 minute ended up being a 2-1/2 hour wait which I hadn't expected.
I am going to North Carolina in the coming days and thought I should get my vehicle checked out for the trip. I was amazed as to how quick I was able to get an appointment. Service was excellent! The digital rear view mirror was not working when we took delivery on our 2026 Ionia 5. Upon delivering our vehicle for service, Joshua, the service advisor, immediately looked to see if there was something simple to fix without us having to leave the car for the day. There was no simple fix, thus we left the car for service. Joshua arrange an Uber to take us home. The entire rearview mirror was replaced and the vehicle was returned to us by early afternoon.

In my online appointment I requested an oil change and tire rotation. Online because this dealership uses a virtual operator and it is impossible to speak with an actual person. I arrived on time for my appointment and then waited over three hours. When i returned home I reviewed the receipt to find that only the oil change was done. Bought 2017 VW Jetta and had it shipped to Michigan. Upon receipt, we can’t open the fuel door. Reached out to Arlington and he said take it in and get it fixed as the door can’t be opened. I get a quote for $624.99 from a VW dealer because no other auto techs know how to resolve and Arlington suddenly changes his tune. Now he says “sold as is”. The service staff are good, however I was very surprised at the $173.00 cost for the first oil change and tire rotation. It seems a bit much.,, I have a Ford Truck that was purchased at Tamiami Ford as well. I have never paid this cost for an oil change and tire rotation... Very disappointing!
Excelent service by Jamie Ruis. He is the best. If all Service people were like Jamie, the World would be a much better place
Tamiami Hyundai has the nicest employees. Everyone there is pleasant and the waiting room is comfortable. They always wash my vehicle too which is appreciated.
Scheduling is poor because you can't speak with someone who knows anything about your car and it's service. $175 and 2.hours for an oil change and tire rotation is ridiculous.
I’d give this dealership an EXCEPTIONAL rating if it wasn’t for what happened at arrival. I pulled up to the closest line in the drive, and to just before the service desk. There were 3 service men standing there and not one made a move to greet me. Then it took them a minute to ask why I was there. I felt like I came to the wrong place. I was instructed to go to the waiting room. No one moved to either tell me which door or direction until I asked.
